Appreciating Our Past

It is easy to be negative about past mistakes and unhappiness. But it is much more healing to look at ourselves and our past in the light of experience, acceptance, and growth.
Our past is a series of lessons that advance us to higher levels of living and loving. The relationships we entered, stayed in, or ended taught us necessary lessons.

Some of us have emerged from the most painful circumstances with strong insights about who we are and what we want. Our mistakes? Necessary. Our frustrations, failures, and sometimes stumbling attempts at growth and progress? Necessary too. Each step of the way, we learned. We went through exactly the experiences we need to, to become who we are today. Each step of the way, we progressed. Is our past a mistake? No. The only mistake we can make is mistaking that for the truth.

Let go of negative thoughts that may be harboring about past circumstances or relationships. Accept, with gratitude, all that has brought to you.

Today took a vid of my Nan Quan for James, haha conclusion: Not gonna go competition, haha standard not there liao =) but still better than the one in competition, so yea improved =) yipee ya ya yipee yipee ya~!

Then went to church for lunch and a few chat, woah just 2 days more never see them they pounced on me like hungry hyenas snatching to devour down a helpless hamster....

After that went to Safra, due to a last min decision, for minds, yet some meeting was in progress, so we went for a round of bowl and then pool. Though did not gave my best yet I scored over 100~ wootz haha. Supposedly 4 strikes a spare~! woots~! Cheuck got a -/strike for first ball, then... you know... Haha, he was rather pissed in pool cuz he was missing the shots. I would think it is because he is too used to the bayshore pool, which I couldnt aim there, thus his aiming angles are off in the actual pool table.

Minds was frankly the worst, the stonest, the coldest time so far. Only the express-it game got them enthu a little. My best was perhaps with hoe han and nicholas, they're awesome people that really anticipated to be excited by the unknowns. Oh well, different group of personality, though ofcoz I prefer the later =) somehow I always felt that someone has been constantly the ice... and to this group, I think the only way to get them a little enthu is dirty jokes.... Hoe han and nic was so awesome, totally clean jokes, no turn downs, crazy and funtastic~ we had at least 10 times the fun lorh, as we can see in youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll1sdHj4no8 =) oh now I realized I have not uploaded the rest of the videos for that day~! gotta do it soon...

Played catching as usual with the SCC kids at the library playground, until 7, then went home. wow, lots of Aries babies, Auntie Rita's just over, April fool's Frankie, 4th Noel hay's, 5th Jacinta's, 6th Auntie Imm's, 7th Alvin's... Bought a photo frame probably gonna take a picture with the staff together and put it in SCC for display? Then a hotwheel car for Noel, wanted a cap for Alvin but dont know which type he like =( hopefully under 10...

Tomorrow last day for Uncle Joe =( sob sob, awesome guy, fun and easy-going, bonds well with kids, not too much restrictions, best in blending with the kids among the current staffs next to Auntie Imm =) Gonna get him a Joe Cool snoopy plush =)
